Scattered showers in Philadelphia Sunday, multiple days of wet and rainy weather this week
Umbrella alert! Be prepared for scattered showers today, with mild and seasonable temperatures in the low 70s.
Runners finishing up the Broad Street Run might see a few sprinkles toward the end of the race between 10-11 a.m., but by later tonight showers will move out.
Skies stay cloudy, which keeps us mild overnight in the upper 50s and 60s.
Multiple rainy days this week
It will be an unsettled week ahead with scattered showers and isolated storms the next few days. There is a break from the rain on Wednesday and then another chance of showers on Thursday.
We start to dry out on Friday and currently Mother's Day Weekend is looking sunny, dry, and mild. Historically Mother's Day in Philly had trended damp, cloudy, and cooler. Fingers crossed we break that trend this year
The week ahead will remain rather seasonable in the low to mid 70s with Friday as the lone exception in the low 60s.
