Brigantine Mayor Andy Simpson Dies After Battle With Renal Disease

BRIGANTINE, N.J. (CBS) -- Andy Simpson, the mayor of Brigantine, has died after a battle with renal disease. Back in February, CBS3 showed you how Simpson's family turned to Facebook and a billboard to find a kidney donor.
Unfortunately, Simpson's daughter says her father's illness worsened and he died from kidney failure.
Simpson was 62.
