Eagles Name Brian Dawkins As Football Operations Executive
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles have hired Brian Dawkins as a full-time employee, executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman announced on Tuesday.
Dawkins was named as the team's football operations executive.

Roseman announced the decision to hire Dawkins while addressing the media in regards to the team's decision to trade Dennis Kelly for wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham. Green-Beckham comes with character issues and Rosemans says Dawkins was hired "to help in this regard" and will be involved in player development.

Dawkins was added as a scouting intern on July 30th.
