Breaking Joe Paterno's Leg Is 'Proudest College Moment' For Lions LB
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's been 10 years since DeAndre Levy accidentally broke Joe Paterno's leg in a college football game.
Levy, now a 29-year-old linebacker with the Detroit Lions, called that moment the "proudest" of his college career according to the Men's Journal, years after the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse conviction.

"That dirtbag, man," Levy reportedly said of Paterno, via mensjournal.com. "We've gotta stop prioritizing sports over humanity. Just because somebody can throw a football or coach football, they're excluded from their wicked acts."

Levy was the Lions' third-round pick out of Wisconsin in 2009. He wrote a piece of The Players' Tribune titled 'Man Up', speaking out against sexual abuse.
