Brandywine School Board Meeting Canceled After Audience Members Refuse To Wear Face Masks

NEW CASTLE COUNTY, Del. (CBS) -- In Delaware, the Brandywine School Board canceled its meeting Monday night after members of the audience refused to wear face masks. There were boos and cheers.

The board cited Gov. John Carney's universal mask mandate as the reason the meeting could not proceed unless everyone put on face masks.

There is no word on when the school board meeting will be rescheduled.
