Boy In A Wheelchair: LEGO Unveils First-Ever Disabled Figure

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A first-ever for the Lego company. It's unveiling a new figure of a boy in a wheelchair. The figure will be available in June, but it's on display now at the Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

According to Lego News Blog Promo Bricks, the "long overdue" minifigure is part of a 15 piece set featuring "urban residents" and includes a family, four children and a baby.

Organizations such as #ToyLikeMe had pushed for the Lego company to better represent children with disabilities. According to founder Rebecca Atkinson, there's a distinct lack of toys that embody the 150 million disabled children around the world.
