Boy, 10, Shot And Wounded In Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- Police are investigating the shooting of a 10-year-old boy in Chester, Delaware County.

It happened around 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park near West 9th and Engle Streets.

Police say the boy was shot in the stomach by a 17-year-old boy.

He was rushed to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in stable condition.

Authorities say a weapon was recovered at the scene and the shooter was taken into custody.

It's not clear what led to the shooting.
