Box Truck Crashes Into Amtrak Bridge Causing Travel Headache In Wayne

WAYNE, Pa. (CBS) -- A box truck accident caused major headaches for drivers in Delaware County Tuesday morning. The accident happened around 8 a.m. at Chamounix Road and West Lancaster Avenue in Wayne.

According to officials, the truck hit an Amtrak Main Line bridge which backed up traffic in both directions during the morning commute.

Police say the bridge is struck often, so they checked its support beams as protocol.

There is still no word if anyone was injured in the accident.
