Boil Water Advisory Issued For Part Of Northampton Township

NORTHAMPTON, Pa., (CBS) -- Officials have issued a boil water advisory for part of Northampton Township, Bucks County due to a water main break.

Officials from the Northampton Bucks County Municipal Authority issued the advisory.

They say a water main ruptured on Bustleton Pike south of Anthony Drive and repairs are underway.

Officials say bacteria samples were taken and they will inform residents after laboratory tests show that the water is safe to drink.

The boil water advisory is in effect for: Tanyard Road,  Schan Drive, Long Stem Lane, Highpoint Circle, Rosette Lane,  Highpoint Drive, E and W Windrose Drive, Shady Lawn Drive, Willow Green Drive, GreenValley Drive,  Creek Road, Hickory Drive, Prince Circle, Willow Drive, Green Meadow Circle, Buttonwood Road, William Way,  Beech Street, Cornell Avenue, Laurel Road, Knowles Avenue,  New Road East (Tom Adams), Gordon Wilber Court,  School House Road, Elm Avenue, Mehler Drive, Grenville Circle, Hilltop Drive,  Churchville Elementary,  Harriet Road, Nelson Drive, Traub Drive, Radcliffe Drive, South Cliff Court, Danby Court, Sherwood Drive, and Sager Place.
