Body Found On Shoreline May Be That Of Missing Man

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a body found on the Delaware River shoreline in southern New Jersey may be that of man believed to have jumped to his death from a nearby bridge.

Gloucester County prosecutors say a person riding an all-terrain vehicle found the body shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday on the shoreline in Logan Township. The body had no identifying articles.

Prosecutors say Delaware River Port Authority police recently received reports about two men who had apparently jumped from DRPA bridges.

One man's body was recovered last week and identified on Saturday.

The other, a Burlington County resident, remains missing. His dental records will be compared with the body found in Logan Township to see if they confirm his identity.
