Police: Body Found Floating In Schuylkill River

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after a body was pulled from the Schuylkill River Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say they received a call that a body was spotted in the water along North Market St. and Schuylkill Ave. around 3 o'clock.

Officials have identified the body as a 49-year-old male.

Medics pronounced the man dead on the scene.

He has been transported to the city's medical examiner's office.
