Body Found In Ditch Along Road In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS/AP) -- Police are investigating the discovery of a body along a ditch in Delaware Wednesday morning.

The discovery was made at about 6 a.m. in the 300 block of South Walnut Street in Wilmington.

According to investigators, the body of male was found in ditch. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Police say the victim was a homeless man in his mid-60s. His body was found near a gas station.

Wilmington Police spokesman Cpl. Mark Ivey says the man died of natural causes, and there were no signs of foul play.

The man's name was not released.
