Body Discovered In Schuylkill River

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after a body was found in the Schuylkill River, Friday afternoon.
The body was found on the east side of the river, near the 1600 block of Schuylkill Avenue, just before 1 p.m.

Philadelphia Police say it appears to be a male's body. They say the body was badly decomposed.
The body was sent to the Medical Examiner's Office.
No further information has been released.
