Bobby Abreu Will Not Make Phillies' Opening Day Roster

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Outfielder Bobby Abreu has been informed by the Phillies that he has not made the Opening Day roster.

The Phillies made the announcement on Wednesday.

In his nine seasons with the team, he hit .303 with 195 home runs and a .928 OPS. Abreu was traded to the Yankees in 2006.

Abreu did not play in MLB in 2013, and spent time with the Dodgers and Angels in 2012, when he hit .246 with three home runs.
