Blog: Autism Cares Foundation Race 11/7

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Lace up your sneakers and join the Autism Cares Foundation's 6th Annual Race for Resources on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Tyler State Park's Center for the Arts, in Richboro, PA.

The family-friendly fundraising event, from 9 a.m. to noon, is expected to draw 2,000 family members, friends, neighbors, and community leaders who want to make a difference in the lives of children, teens, and young adults with autism and their families.

There is a 5K, 10K, Family Fun Walk, Autism Expo, face painting, bounce house, rock climbing wall, video game bus, refreshments, music and more. For further information go to www.raceforresources.org.

Money raised by this event will support a long time goal of the development of the Autism Life Enrichment Community – with the necessary support services, including recreation, jobs, job skill development and living assistance (long term care) -- in order to have a rich and fulfilling life.
