Americans Expected To Spend Nearly $3 Billion On Halloween Candy

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Halloween is fast approaching and this year and Americans are expected to drop a lot of cash on candy.

This year, according to the annual survey released recently by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics, researchers say about $2.7 billion will be spent on candy this year.
