Bill Cosby's Preliminary Hearing Rescheduled

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A preliminary hearing for sex assault charges against comedian Bill Cosby has been rescheduled.

The hearing is now slated for February 2nd.

It will be before District Judge Elizabeth McHugh, but will be held at the Montgomery County Courthouse to accommodate the anticipated large crowds.

The hearing was originally scheduled for January 14th, but was continued at the request of Cosby's defense team.

At a preliminary hearing, prosecutors are required to show they have enough evidence to go to trial.

Cosby is charged with sexually assaulting a woman in 2004 in his Elkins Park mansion; the first criminal charges filed against the 78-year-old entertainer.
