Bernie Parent Asks Philly To Support Chip Kelly: 'I Love This Man'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Welcome to the Chip Ship, Bernie Parent.
Parent, who joined Michael Barkann and Ike Reese Thursday on the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Flyers' 1975 Stanley Cup victory, couldn't resist giving his opinion on Eagles head Chip Kelly.
"By the way, I was listening to you guys about our great Chip Kelly," Parent told Barkann and Reese at the beginning of the conversation. "Now, I just want to say a couple of words about him. I love this man and I'm going to support him and I'm asking people to support because he's moving forward. Until he breaks down, we're looking for a winner here so let's support this guy for God's sake."

"What if he goes 8-8?" Barkann asked.
"He won't," said a confident Parent. "He's going to win at least ten games this year."
There you have it. Time to get on the Chip Ship, because no one is allowed to disobey Bernie.
