PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Luxury carmaker Bentley has seen a 23% sales increase in 2014, despite concerns of economic slowdowns in fast growth markets like China.

The newest Flying Spur sent sales in China up by 61%, accounting for over 20 percent of total Bentley deliveries. If there ever was a car to lure out buyers for a quarter of a million dollar leather-swathed luxury tank...the new Bentley Flying Spur delivers on all 12 cylinders.

A dazzling four door sedan packing a 616 horsepower engine, the Flying Spur lives up to its classic Bentley racing heritage, burnished these days by decisive wins in the FIA Blancplain racing series.

The interior of the Flying Spur is gravely serious in the pursuit of luxury, with every wood and brushed metal accent and every stitch of leather just right. The delicate Breitling analog clock gracing the center of the dash finishes off a clean stylized modern treatment of traditional gauges and displays.

On the road the ride is quiet and serene until the opportunity comes to hit the gas, light up the turbochargers and send the Bentley Flying Spur doing 0 to 60 in 4.3 seconds.
