Investigators: Home Catches On Fire As Owner Uses Heater To Thaw Frozen Pipes

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) -- A home in Bensalem caught on fire on Thursday morning as the owner was trying to thaw out his water pipes.

Bensalem firefighters were called out to the home on the 700 block of Clinton Avenue on Thursday morning.

Investigators ruled the fire accidental as the homeowner used a salamander heater to thaw frozen water pipes.

No injuries were reported.
