Northeast Philadelphia School Evacuated Over Chemical Scare

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A school in Northeast Philadelphia was evacuated due to a chemical scare on Thursday afternoon.

The fire department responded to a hazmat situation at the Benjamin Rush School at 11081 Knights Road around 2:30 p.m.

The school was evacuated due to reports of chemicals in the boiler room.

No injuries have been reported.

Fire department officials are investigating.
