BBB Launches Scamtracker Website To Help Consumers Fight Scammers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – There's a new tool to help fight scammers.
The Better Business Bureau just launched Scamtracker, a website that allows consumers to see which scams are trending in their neighborhood.
The idea reportedly came out of the Target data breach.
Target joined forces with the BBB to give consumers a place where they could share their stories with one another.
The BBB hopes Scamtracker will work so well that it will eventually chase some scams away completely.
