Battleship New Jersey To Mark Pearl Harbor Anniversary

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Veterans aboard the battleship New Jersey are holding a Pearl Harbor Day ceremony.

They're remembering those who died in the Japanese attack on this date in 1941, which caused the United States to enter World War II.

The ship was launched little more than a year after the attack and saw service in the Pacific during the war. It is docked in Camden as a museum.

Congressman Donald Norcross will give the keynote address during Monday's ceremony.
