Battleship New Jersey Gets High Energy Efficient Technology Upgrade

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS--Some cool technology updates on the Battleship New Jersey.

The historic battleship is getting more energy efficient.

Interior improvements include removing old fluorescent bulbs for new LED light fixtures.

The ship's heating is also getting upgraded from an electric system to natural gas fueled boilers.

It's all part of a $1.4 million project to bring the popular museum and memorial into the 21st century.
