Basketballs Left At Kobe Bryant's Lower Merion High School Memorial Sent To Philadelphia Police Athletic League For Kids To Use

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The basketballs left at the Kobe Bryant memorial outside Lower Merion High School are being put to good use. The Philadelphia Police Athletic League picked up the balls on Wednesday.

Children will use them at PAL centers across the city.

School officials say they hope the PAL kids are inspired by Kobe's work ethic, drive for excellence and love of the game.
