Barwin: Rodgers Is The NFL's Best QB

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Aaron Rodgers has 25 interceptions and just three interceptions. His 120.1 rating tops all NFL quarterbacks.

Rodgers is coming off throwing six touchdown passes, all in the first half, en route to a 55-14 thumping of the Bears last Sunday night.

"I have the utmost respect for the guy, I think he's the best quarterback in the league," Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin told Michael Barkann and Ike Reese, of Rodgers, on the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show. "Obviously, he can run around a little bit in the back and then he just throws the ball places, wherever he wants, so he's a great challenge for us. We'll have our work cut out for us this week."

At home, Rodgers, remarkably, hasn't thrown an interception since December 2nd, 2012 and has an unfathomable touchdown to interception ratio of 28 to zero during that span.

On Sunday, the 7-2 Eagles will put their 22 consecutive game takeaway streak on the line at Lambeau Field for a frigid 4:25pm E.T. kickoff against the 6-3 Packers (4-0 at home) and a red hot Rodgers.

"Obviously, Green Bay is playing outstanding football right now," Chip Kelly said Tuesday on the 94WIP Morning Show. "I think the average scores of their home games---they have an unbelievable home field advantage---is 42-13. They were on fire. You get a chance to really see them play on Sunday night. You're playing against arguably the best quarterback in the NFL right now in Aaron Rodgers and what he's putting up for numbers. Should be a huge challenge for us and a huge test, and we're excited to go out there and see what we can do."
