'Avengers: Infinity War' Breaks U.S Box Office Opening Weekend Record
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Marvel Studios' latest flick not only dominated the box office, but also broke records.
"Avengers: Infinity War" took in an estimated $880 million worldwide over its opening weekend, $250 million in the United States and $630 million overseas.
That shatters the previous record for biggest United States opening weekend ever, edging out 2015's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
