Autumn Pasquale Lawsuit Against Law Enforcement Agencies Dismissed

CLAYTON, NJ (CBS) -- The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office has announced a lawsuit on behalf of the estate of Autumn Pasquale has been dismissed.

Pasquale, 12, was found murdered in October of 2012.

The lawsuit said that police didn't act properly and that if they had, there's "a reasonable chance" Autumn Pasquale would be alive.

Officials say the defendants in the 2014 civil suit were the New Jersey State Police, Gloucester County, the county's Presecutor's Office, Monroe, Franklin and Elk Townships, Clayton, Glassboro and several police officers, who were all involved in the search for Pasquale.

Pasquale was found dead on October 23, 2012 and two teenage Clayton boys were charged.
