Autopsy Set On Man's Body Found Near Pennsylvania Little League Field

SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) — Police and a coroner were investigating a man's body found near a Little League field in northeastern Pennsylvania.

The Lackawanna County coroner's office and Scranton police were on the scene Tuesday night.

The body was found on a trail behind the Marvine Dutch Gap Little League field.

The coroner's office says the body appears to be that of a man in his 50s. The coroner was waiting to release the man's name after notifying his family.

An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday. The coroner's office phone number was repeatedly busy and police haven't commented on the situation.
