CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) -- Officials in Camden County have completed an autopsy on a fetus found Thursday at a Camden business.

The medical examiner says the fetus was not capable of breathing and died from extreme immaturity. The fetus was female and was about 19 weeks old.

Officials say the fetus was found by a worker at the ReCommunity Camden recycling plant on Mount Ephraim Avenue around 3 p.m. Thursday, and it was on a conveyor belt when it was discovered.

The Camden County Prosecutors and the Camden Metro police are investigating the case.

Anyone with information which could be helpful in the investigation is urged to call the prosecutor's office at 856-225-8694 or the police at 856-757-7420.
