Officials: Man Found Shot To Death Inside Vehicle In Burlington County

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J., (CBS) --  Officials say a man was found shot to death inside his car in Mansfield Township and the Burlington County Prosecutor's office are asking for help from the public to solve this crime.

Officials say the body of 68-year-old James Dewyer was found inside his silver Dodge Sunday afternoon. Mansfield Township Police discovered the body when they were called to Monica Court to check on a parked vehicle.

Dewyer's last known address was in Burlington Township, but authorities say he has lived in area motels the last few years.

Investigators are awaiting autopsy results but do suspect foul play. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
