DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A person is in custody following a shooting inside a Doylestown home. It happened Thursday afternoon at a home in the Belmont Square area, near the intersection of Court and East Streets.

The shooting caused a barricade situation inside the home.

Some nearby residents were evacuated while others were told to shelter in place. Officials say the shelter in place has been lifted and residents may return to their homes.

"I heard all the commotion in front of my house, so I got a little worried and police were all over the place," neighbor Tom Lingenfelter said.

Officials say the shelter in place has been lifted and residents may return to their homes.

No one was injured during the incident.
