5 People Injured In Two Vehicle Crash On Del. Memorial Bridge
NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS) -- Crews were on the scene of a two vehicle accident in the westbound lanes of the Delaware Memorial Bridge on Wednesday morning.
Around 9:30 a.m., two vehicles were reportedly involved in a crash on the bridge near the Delaware tower.
Five people were reportedly taken to the hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.
One lane was getting by at first but three lanes reopened around 11:15 a.m. One lane on the southbound span remains closed for unrelated construction.
