Aston Boy Honored By University Of Penn's Public Safety Department

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  An Aston boy is getting top honors from University of Penn's Public Safety Department.
5-year-old Logan Mast gave their K-9 officer a gift basket with money he raised on his GoFund me account... instead of presents for his birthday.
"They can help us when there's a bad guy," Mast says.

Logan was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation.
So far he put together six gift baskets for K-9's in Delaware County and throughout the area.
It's a GoFund me account called Logan's Heroes.
His Mom says because police officiers are his heroes.

"He loves K-9's and police officers. That's what he wants to be when he grows up," Nicole Mast says.

"He's just a great kid, only five years old. Someone so little to want to help officers and out K-9 partners," says UPenn Public Safety Officer Sean Mackey.

The Go-Fund-Me page is still raising money.
