There are so many reasons to be excited for spring 2015. The takeaway trends modeled on the runways showcase a variety of fun, flirty, feminine and contrasting themes. The '70s inspired influences seen in the hippie-meets-modern day chic fashions include: fringe, ruffles, and lace, faded denim, wide leg pants, shirt dresses, gingham, metallic,  Kimonos,  and oh so much floral!

Here are Gilbert's five favorite most wearable fashion trends for spring 2015.

Modern Bohemian

This spring, the '70s mood is featured in long, flowing, feminine maxi dresses. Keira Knightley in her Valentino gown at the Academy Awards was a perfect example!

Asymmetrical Hems

The asymmetrical hem can be found in dresses, skirts and a variety of tops. This uneven hemline creates a sexy silhouette.

Fringe

This season will continue to feature fringe; fringing adds great movement and texture to clothing and accessories. It's great on mini and maxi dresses and very chic on any handbag.

Gingham

If plaid was for fall, gingham is definitely making a modern day come back. Pastel palettes and sheer light fabrics make this pattern anything but traditional. Check out this pattern in fun, flirty dresses, skirts, suits, and blouses.

Kimono Style

The Japanese inspired Kimono takes on a new comfortable look this spring in jackets, dresses, and belts.
