Arrest Made In Deadly Shooting Of Woman In Queen Village

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police say an arrest has been made in connection with the shooting death of a woman in Philadelphia's Queen Village neighborhood.

Police say Marcus Johnson, 32, was arrested Tuesday for the murder of 32-year-old Nekeisha Eugene.

At about 10:10 p.m. Monday, police responded to a person with a gun at the 900 block of South 5th Street.

Upon arrival, police say officers located Eugene bleeding from the face suffering from a gunshot to the head and arm.

Officers took her to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on Tuesday.

Police say Johnson is charged with Murder and related offenses.
