By Justin Udo

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police make an arrest in the murder of a man whose body was found inside of a car last month in Germantown.

As KYW's Justin Udo reports, the victim is the father of Los Angeles Lakers guard Wayne Ellington.

Philadelphia Police say in early November 57-year-old Wayne Ellington was found with a gunshot wound to his head clinging to life.

Ellington eventually died of his wounds, but now police have arrested 34-year-old Carl White of Philadelphia in connection with his murder and other related offenses.

Wayne Ellington was the father of Los Angeles Lakers guard Wayne Ellington.

The younger Ellington played for Episcopal Academy in Merion.
