Armed Suspects Rob Hotel In Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) -- Police are searching for three suspects in connection with the armed robbery of a hotel in Delaware Friday.

The robbery happened at about 1:20 a.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel on South College Avenue in Newark.

According to investigators, two armed suspects and one unarmed suspect entered the front door of the hotel lobby.

The two armed suspects jumped over the counter and demanded cash from the clerk.

The suspects emptied both cash drawers and then ran out the front door. It was not immediately known how much money the suspects made off with.

There were no reports of any injuries.
