Armed Suspect Robs Popular South Philadelphia Coffee Shop

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a South Philly coffee shop.

On Sunday, Jan. 18th around 9 p.m., an employee was behind the counter at the Ultimo Coffee Bar at 1900 South 15th Street when an unknown suspect entered the story and pulled a handgun before demanding money.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled heading west on Mifflin Street.

The suspect is described as a black male who is about 20-years-old with a thin build. He has a beard and was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, a gray North Face jacket and a light blue coat.
