Armed Robbers Take Cash, Electronics During Bucks County Home Invasion

CHALFONT, Pa. (CBS) - Police say two men armed with guns invaded a home in Chalfont, Bucks County early Friday morning and got away with cash and other items.

This happened around 12:15 a.m. at the home near South Limekiln Pike and New Jersey Avenue.

New Britain Township police Chief Robert Scafid says the two masked men entered the home with handguns and forced the victims to the ground:

"Robbed the occupants of the residence, which were four young males. The house was ransacked. Some electronics were stolen, a cell phone, and some cash."

One of the residents was assaulted with a pistol, according to police, but refused medical treatment.

Police say they believe the suspects targeted this home, but may have expected more. They remain on the loose as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
