Archbishop Nelson Perez says he's feeling fine after he fainted during Holy Thursday mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.
"I'm so grateful for your prayers and concern," Perez wrote on social media. "I felt very lightheaded during the Chrism Mass today and left the altar. Doctors and EMS personnel evaluated me at the Cathedral. My vital signs are normal and I feel just fine."
Holy Thursday mass commemorates the Last Supper and marks the end of Lent.
