Anti-Religion Band Postpones Philly Concert During Pope's Visit

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A Swedish, heavy metal band known for its satanic-themed music has had to postpone a Philadelphia concert scheduled for the weekend the Pope will be in town...but not for the reason you might think.
The band "Ghost" features a lead singer dressed in black robes, skeleton face paint and wearing a mitre. They scheduled a sold-out show at Union Transfer for September 26th, specifically because Pope Francis would be in town.
But the band released a video saying the show is being postponed, felled by a force even more omnipotent than any higher power: the traffic restrictions.
"Ghost fans will not be able to use public transportation, park their cars near the venue, or even get the Ghost encourage close enough to load in their instruments of persuasion," the video says.
But as the video mentions, Ghost is not giving up on spreading its unholy message:
"Concession is sometimes hard, but our quest to topple a church will be won!"
The show is rescheduled for Tuesday, September 29th.
