Another Round Of Showers Could Impact Evening Rush Hour Commute

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Early morning steady rain put quite a damper on the commutes of many throughout the Delaware Valley.

Most areas are now currently on the back side of this area of precipitation and you can expect this break in the action to continue through the early afternoon hours. Another round of showers is likely later today, and it could impact the rush hour commute. Not the best of weather days if you work 9-5!

Skies will clear out on Friday and some sunshine will return. There may be a passing shower during the afternoon hours, but it should be a generally dry day. It will be much cooler as well, and a brisk wind is going to make it feel quite chilly!

The weekend looks mostly tranquil; sunny skies on Saturday, with a deep fall chill, and clouds and sun on Sunday, with a few light showers around early in the day.
