Annual Ride Your Bike To Work Day Gets Rolling This Friday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia's 21st Annual Ride Your Bike to Work Day is this Friday, May 20th, and registration for the event is being encouraged by organizers.

There will be energizing stations through out the city on well-biked areas where riders can fuel up on snacks, coffee, and pick up some swag.

"There's one at the Penn Museum, one at 13th and Pine, there is one at 11th and Washington, 6th and Spring Garden, and 22nd between Spruce and Pine," said Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia spokesman Randy LoBasso.

"It's really just a way to encourage more people to bike to work and encourage better use of Philadelphia's bike infrastructure, and just encouraging bike use in general," he said.
