Iowa City Holds Annual Homemade Cardboard Sled Race

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (CBS) -- It was the perfect winter weather fun in Sioux City, Iowa this past Sunday.

The city held its annual Homemade Cardboard Sled Race and invited racers of all ages to come show off their creativity.

The event mandated that the sleds be built entirely out of cardboard without the use of any other material.

Beyond light-hearted fun, racers of each age group competed for a $50 cash prize for the best design.

The winner of each race walked away with their very own trophy.
