An Unsettled Week Ahead

By Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Warm air stays in place Tuesday, but a frontal boundary will back into our area from the Northeast, bringing more clouds and a possible shower or storm.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 70s.

The "back door front" will cause easterly winds to develop and bring in cooler air off the ocean.

Expect more clouds Wednesday with a shower possible and highs near average in the low 70s.

The front will then lift north (again) as a warm front on Thursday.

High temperatures will rebound to 80 degrees with a scattered shower or storm chance.

The best chance for steady rain will arrive on Friday, as a cold front slides through the Delaware Valley, with highs near 70.

Dry and cool weather returns for the weekend, with highs both Saturday and Sunday around 70 degrees!
