UPDATE: Amtrak Service Resumes Between Washington And Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  Amtrak Acela Express and Northeast Regional service has resumed between Washington and Philadelphia.

Passengers should expect congestion-related delays through the evening due to earlier police activity just north of Washington Union Station.
