Amtrak Announces Service Plan Through Monday, May 18

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On Thursday night, Amtrak released their modified service plan through Monday, May 18.

Amtrak has restored service north of New York City. There will continue to be modified service between Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia through Monday.

All service between Philadelphia and New York City will remain suspended and alternatives will continue to be available from local transit agencies via New Jersey Transit and SEPTA.

Amtrak will continue repairs on the affected track and expect service to be suspended through Monday. They plan to release updated information regarding service on or before Monday.
