UPDATE: Amber Alert Canceled in Berks County, 20-Month-Old Boy Found Safe

CUMRU Twp., Pa. (CBS) -- The Amber Alert issued for a 20-month-old boy in Cumru Township, Berks County was canceled and the child was found safe.

Cumru Township Police say they received a report around 4 p.m. Tuesday concerning a 24-year-old woman and her 20-month-old son being endangered and missing from their home in the 1000 block of Bedford Avenue.

The woman, identified as Jessica Lynn Mauger, and her son, Aedan Mauger, were reported missing by family members, Cumru Township Police said. Jessica had left her home with Aedan Tuesday morning.

According to police, Jessica allegedly left a note stating she and her son would not be returning, and included information which led her family to believe she was going to harm herself.

Cumru Township Police, with the help of Lancaster City Police, located Jessica and Aedan around 7:45 p.m. in Lancaster City.

Police say both Jessica and Aedan were found safe and unharmed.
