Adventurous Siberian Husky Rescued After Going For 1.5 Mile Swim In Monmouth County Bay

MONMOUTH COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) -- An adventurous dog is back on dry land after going for a very long swim down the shore. The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office shared these pictures of the soaked Siberian husky named Caiden.

They say Caiden ran away from his owner last weekend and swam about one and a half miles into a bay off Union Beach.

The sheriff's office launched its boat and eventually brought him back to dry land where they reunited him with his owner.
